An update on the festive season...
I spent xmas with my family in London, it was quiter than normal I think. My sister wasn't around xmas day so it was just me and the parents which was weird.
I got money for driving lessons, a Nintendo DS off my sister, some clothes and CDs :)
I won't be around tomorrow so I shall take this oppurtunity to wish you all a very Happy New Year, I hope 2009 is great to all of you :D

Advent Adventures
Hi all!
Well first things first, I'm doing ok on my new medication. It proper knocks me out but I suppose that's not necessariy a bad things, at least I'm sleeping now, it's just waking at that's the problem! the past two days I haven't woken up naturally, only when someone wakes me up! It's also made me very unco cordinated, especially when I first get up in the morning, it's like I'm drunk! It took me about 3 attempts to get the toopaste on the brush this morning! I've cancelled my driving lesson on Tuesday, better not risk that until these side effects wear off!
I'm feeling generally more contented though
Yesterday I actually managed to get some xmas shopping done! Alex and I went into Birmingham City Centre. I got presents for my sister and Shaun very easily. Also my mum too, though I want to get her something else small as well. I have to buy for my Dad still, Darren (no idea), my work secret santa and my other 2 secret santas (no idea!).
We went to the German Xmas Market and Alex got me mulled cider and he had mulled wine and it made me warm inside and was lovely.
In the evening Alex and I jaunted over to Rugby to have dinner with his dad, then the 3 of us picked up Adam (who was my surrogate father for the evening...) and we went to the Courthouse in Rugby to see Josh play with hisPink Floyd Tribute Band.
It was a proper family affair, as previously mentioned, Alex was there with his Dad, I was there with Adam, Josh's mum was there to see him, Hannah was there with her Dad, Jenny brought her Dad and Uncle, Mez came with his Dad, and I convinced Arran to bring his Dad along too. It was really really good. If you're into Pink Floyd or anything even vaguely like it I suggest you check them out. No one had a bad word to say about them!
Today I came back here, did some tidying relaxed a bit, and updated my Amazon Wishlist to make Xmas shopping for my family pretty much an exercise in mouse clicking.
Next week is going to be a busy one for me work wise, I have a lot of meetings etc.
In the mean time, I shall point you to this: CLICK MEEE!!!!
It's a sneak preview of Alex and Josh's band (ursaDomine)'s EP. I think it's swell.
I'm now off to arrange our group secret santa *stress*
